1. Package Contents

The package includes:

1. Smart Yuki key‑turner 
2. Cover ring 
3. USB‑Type‑C cable 
4. Screwdrive

3. Installation

Fully charge the smart Yuki before installation. 

Note: Install the smart Yuki on the door first, then pair it in the SOREX Smart Lock app. 

Ensure your profile cylinder protrudes 3 to 4.5 mm from the door or escutcheon (see illustration) so the key‑turner can be firmly screwed onto the cylinder.

Insert your key straight into the cylinder from the inside. 

Slide the smart Yuki key‑turner carefully over the key until the key sits in the opening. Make sure the opening is aligned straight (see illustration). 

Tighten the four lateral set screws with the supplied screwdriver.

Tip: We recommend using a cylinder with an emergency‑escape function—this allows the door to be unlocked from the outside even if a key is inserted on the inside.

Finally, mount the black cover ring onto the smart Yuki.

4. Charging the Battery

Only charge the key‑turner’s battery with the supplied USB‑Type‑C cable. 
The magnetic cable included prevents tangling or accidental disconnection while charging.

 
You have two charging options: 

1. In‑place charging: If there’s a power outlet near your door, charge the key‑turner without removing it. 
2. Removed charging: Remove the black cover ring and loosen the set screws with the screwdriver. Ensure the opening is aligned straight, then gently pull out the key‑turner and charge it on any USB outlet. 

You may also charge the device using a power bank. 

5. Operation

5.1 Operation from the Inside

From the interior (where the key‑turner is mounted) there are three ways to lock or unlock the door:

1. Manually turn the key‑turner by hand. 
2. Press the button on the key‑turner to trigger a lock/unlock action. 
3. Use the SOREX SmartLock app to control the lock.

5.2  Operation from the Outside

From the exterior you can operate the key‑turner by:

1. Using the SOREX SmartLock app. 
2. Entering a code on the Wireless CodePad. 
3. Pressing a button on the remote control.

6. Reset to Factory Settings

To reset the smart Yuki to factory settings, either:

• Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds (until two tones sound in quick succession) 
• Remove the device from your Smart Lock app.

7. Smartphone App

The smart Yuki is managed and controlled via the SOREX SmartLock app.

1. Search for “SOREX Smart Lock” in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. 
2. Install the app and follow the in‑app instructions to add and configure your smart Yuki. ​
