To send eKeys (digital keys), please first press "eKeys" on the start page and then "Send eKey".
A window appears in which you have four different options for providing access:
Timed: From - To period
A period of time can be selected during which the person who receives the e-Key is able to unlock the product using the SmartLock app. Outside the valid period, the lock can no longer be opened and appears as "inactive".
Permanent: Permanent access
The person with the received e-Key can open the lock permanently.
One-time: Access for one-time opening
After a single & successful opening, the lock cannot be opened again. It disappears automatically from the SmartLock app.
Recurring: Periodic access, e.g.: every week from Mon - Fri
Access to the lock is only possible during the valid days and times. However, these can be set recurrently.
You must always enter the recipient account (telephone number or e-mail) and a name. In addition, you can enter further information such as the period of time during which the access should be valid. Finally, press "Send" to send the invitation.
The person who receives the e-key now has access to the lock in the SmartLock app (logged in with their access data) and can now open it.
To remove users first clock on "eKeys" to call up the user list.
Then press the corresponding user to select it.
A window with user information will now open. To delete the user, press the red "Delete" button at the bottom.
