Wireless Codepad
1. Initial setup
1.1 Activate configuration mode
To assign the wireless keypad to a lock, first go to the desired lock in the SOREX SmartLock - App that
should to be unlocked later via the keypad.
Then go to Settings -> “Wireless Keypad”. A new keypad can be added by pressing on the “Add keypad” button on the bottom.
In order for the wireless keypad to be recognised by the mobile phone, the configuration mode must
be activated. This is the case when the LED (top right) on the device flashes green. If so, click on "Next".
If this is not the case, please tap on "The keypad does not flash". You will then be asked to enter the
code *529# on the keypad. After entering the code, the LED (top right) should now flash green. Then
click on "Next".
Note: If this does not work, you can also activate the keyboard by pressing the reset button (acoustic
signal sounds).
To do this, unscrew the four screws on the back of the wireless keypad and remove the back cover.
Then press the reset button.
Attention: In order for the device to be found, Bluetooth must be turned on and the smartphone must
be within Bluetooth range of the keypad!
1.2 Connect the keypad with a lock
Now you can select your keypad and give it a name. Then confirm with "OK".
The keypad is now connected to the selected lock and can unlock it with all passcodes you have
created. To open the lock, enter a valid code and then press the (#) Unlocking – key.
Note: The lock can also be locked by pressing the (#) Unlocking – key for a long time (if passage mode
is activated).
Attention: Also note that the wireless keypad should be within Bluetooth range of the lock!
The keypad is now shown at the selected lock under Settings -> “Wireless Keypad”. Furthermore, the
current battery status of the keypad is also displayed.
1.3 Create passcode
To generate a numerical code / PIN, first click on "Passcodes" on the start page of the desired lock and
then on "Generate Passcode".
A number of variants for generating a PIN are then possible. In the "Permanent" section, a random
numerical code is generated and displayed after entering a name. Furthermore, in the "Custom"
section, you can create your custom 4-9-digit number combination.
1.4 Delete keypad
To delete a keyboard that is assigned to a lock, first click on "Settings" on the home page of the lock
and then on "Wireless Keypad".
Now select the wireless keypad that you want to remove from the lock. Then click on "Delete" at the
bottom and confirm the process by clicking "Delete" again.
1.5 Delete all keypads
On the start page of the selected lock, first click on "Settings" again and then on "Wireless Keypad".
To remove all keypads, first click on "Reset" in the top right-hand corner and then confirm by clicking
"Delete" again. All keypads which were assigned to the lock are now deleted!
