SENSO WiFi Door Intercom
1. Scope of delivery
The package contains:
- SOREX Senso WiFi Door Intercom (incl. mounting plate and 2x NCR18650BD battery)
- Double-sided adhesive tape
- Charging cable (Micro-USB)

3. Setup / Installation
3.1 Power supply / Charging
To put the door intercom into operation for the first time, you must first loosen the small screw on the side.
Now remove the mounting plate to gain access to the battery compartment. To do this, first slide the mounting plate slightly downwards.
You can then remove the mounting plate. If the battery contact protectors are still present, they must be removed.
The door intercom will then give an acoustic signal or the red light will start flashing. This indicates that the door intercom has not yet been configured and is ready for configuration.
To charge the door intercom, connect the supplied USB cable to a commercially available USB charger and connect this to the door intercom (USB port is located on the underside of the door intercom). The two batteries must be in the door intercom during the charging process.
3.2 Mounting on the door / wall
You have two options for mounting the door intercom:
- Mounting by means of double-sided adhesive tape (e.g. directly on the door)
- Mounting using the dowels and screws supplied (e.g. on the wall)
3.2.1 Mounting with double-sided adhesive tape
First remove the protective film from one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and stick this side of the tape to the back of the door intercom or the mounting plate. Note the recess on the mounting plate; this will help you to apply the adhesive tape in the correct direction.
You can then remove the protective film on the other side of the adhesive tape. Now you can stick the door intercom or the mounting plate in the desired position.
Please make sure that both the mounting plate and the place where you want to stick the door intercom/mounting plate have been thoroughly cleaned beforehand.
3.2.2 Mounting with the help of the dowels and screws supplied
First remove the mounting plate from the door intercom and then use a pencil to mark the 4 drilling points on the wall where you want to mount the door intercom.
Then put the mounting plate aside and drill 4 holes at the previously marked locations. Now insert the 4 dowels supplied into the holes.
Now you can mount the mounting plate on the wall using the 4 screws supplied.
Finally, you can place the door intercom on the mounting plate and fix it in place with the fixing screw:
3.3 MicroSD - Card (optional)
You can optionally insert a microSD card into the door intercom to be able to save recordings on it. You will find the slot for this inside the battery compartment.
4. Smartphone App
Search for the Smart Life app in the Google Play Store or Apple Store and install it.

5.1 Structure
5.2 First configuration
- Plug the door chime into a socket.
- You can now optionally set the desired volume with the volume button. Tap repeatedly until you have reached the desired volume (change between 5 levels - silent to maximum volume).
- Now select your desired ring tone using the forward and back key.
- Press and hold the volume button for approx. 5 seconds or until the door chime emits a short tone and the blue light of the chime flashes.
- Now press the bell button on the door intercom within the next 5 seconds.
- If the pairing between the door intercom was successful, the door chime will now play the selected ring tone and the configuration was successful. The door chime now plays this ringtone every time someone rings the door intercom.
Acttention: If the door chime does not play a ring tone when you press the "Ring" button on the door intercom, start the configuration of the chime again from the beginning.
5.3 Change ringtone
Selecting a new ring tone works exactly the same as described under 4.2. First configuration:
- Select your desired ring tone using the forward and back buttons.
- Press and hold the volume button for about 5 seconds or until the door chime emits a short tone and the blue light of the chime flashes.
- Now press the bell button on the door intercom within the next 5 seconds.
5.4 Change volume
- There are 5 different volume settings to choose from. Press the volume button to change to the next loudest setting. If you are already at the loudest setting, the volume changes to the quietest setting (silent).
6. Reset to factory settings
You can reset the SOREX Senso WiFi door intercom in the following ways:
- First delete the device from the app (long tap -> "Remove the device").
- Remove the mounting plate on the back of the door intercom and press the reset button for 5 seconds or until you hear "Reset to factory settings".
Attention: If you return the door intercom to us or pass it on privately, it is absolutely necessary to delete the device from the Smart Life app. Otherwise we will not be able to accept the return or the next user to whom you pass on the door intercom will not be able to use it.
