Set up: add camera
- Open the app and press on the top right of the main page to add a new device. In the selection that opens, please either select "Camera & Lock" and then "Smart camera (Wi-Fi)". Or, to add a doorbell, in the section "Video monitoring" click on "Smart Doorbell".
- Make sure that the device flashes red when it is activated (see the respective instructions) and confirm this in the app by ticking the box and pressing "Next".
- Now select your WiFi - network (only 2.4 GHz networks are supported) and enter the corresponding password.
- A QR code is now displayed in the app. Point your smartphone with the QR code towards the lens of the camera from a distance of approx. 20 centimetres so that the camera scans the QR code. This QR code contains the Wi-Fi connection information.
- The device scans this code and uses this information to establish a connection with your Wi-Fi network.
- The camera beeps as soon as it has successfully scanned the QR code and then establishes a connection with your Wi-Fi network. Once you have heard the beeps, you no longer need to hold the QR code towards the Spy Cam and you can press "Beep heard" in the app.
- The device is now searched for and waited until the camera has established the connection and is accessible.
- In the following screen, you can rename the successfully added device by pressing

- Finally, you will see the added device on the start page.
