How secure are electronic door locks?
You don't need to worry about safety with SOREX products, for the following reasons:
Data encryption:
All data is stored directly on the door lock with bank-safe AES 128-bit encryption. As a result, no one has access to this data - not even us as the manufacturer. Unauthorized reading is therefore not possible.
Anti-drill steel:
Even if the knob of our FLEX cylinder is knocked off by brute force (sledgehammer), the mechanism behind it cannot be manipulated to open the lock.
Secure authentication:
Our SOREX door locks support different authentication options: fingerprint, pincode and RFID media. No matter which method you choose, your lock is protected against unauthorized access.
Fingerprint opening:
All SOREX fingerprint locks support in depth scan and life detection. An opening with eg. a photo of the finger is not possible. The fingerprint has to be three-dimensional. But even with a 3D model you can't open our locks, because the sensor also checks parameters such as heat and pulse.
Opening by number code:
Our numeric code locks also save all data using bank-safe AES 128 bit.
Encryption directly at the door lock. With a 6-digit code, there are 1000000 possible combinations. Trying all these combinations would take 57 days. An unauthorized opening is therefore impossible.
RFID media:
Even if you choose a door lock with RFID card, security is still guaranteed. All RFID data is stored directly on the door lock, using bank-safe AES 128-bit encryption. Unauthorized opening or copying of the data to an unauthorized medium is therefore not possible with RFID cards either.
