Can you crack SOREX cylinders by knocking off the outside knob?

Our cylinders only engage if they are authenticated, depending on the model with a stored finger, pin code or an RFID medium. Otherwise the knob will rotate passively and the lock will not open.

Even we as a manufacturer cannot open a cylinder without an admin.

That's why we always advise customers to reset the cylinder before returning it to us. Otherwise the cylinder is unusable and can only be disposed of.
