Will my SOREX door lock automatically, or do I have to still do this mechanically?

Our door locks only releases the lock (after successful authentication). After that you can unlock and lock it like you are using a key. The door can always be opened without authentication from the inside by turning the knob. Locking automatically as with a motor lock is not possible.

However, our wall readers and the SOREX WiFi UniLock can be combined with a motor lock (currently not included in our product range), which then enables automatic locking.
