Note: The micro SD card slot available in the battery compartment is not supported!

 

3. Set up / Installation

Step 1: Open the surveillance camera by setting the slide lock to Open (open lock) and opening the cover.

Step 2: Insert the batteries or remove the battery protection contacts. Close the cover again and set the slide lock to Closed.

Step 3: Mount the magnetic holder by first drilling a hole in the wall at the location to be mounted. Insert the dowel into the drilled hole and screw in the supplied screw. Make sure that the screw still protrudes slightly from the wall so that the magnetic holder can be hung up.

 

 

Step 4: Place the magnetic holder on the previously mounted screw and attach the wireless surveillance camera to the holder using the magnet.

 

 

3.1 Charge batteries

Please fully charge the batteries before using them for the first time.

You can charge the camera by connecting it to a standard mobile phone charger using the supplied charging cable. The micro-USB connector is located on the bottom of the device.

During charging, the charging LED lights up red. As soon as the LED lights greenthe unit is fully charged, the LED lights green.

 

Please note that we no longer send chargers with the products for environmental reasons.

 

4. Smartphone App

Search for the Smart Life app in the Google Play Store or Apple Store and install it.

5. Reset to factory settings

You can reset the SOREX Senso WLAN surveillance camera in the following way (both steps must be carried out):

  • First delete the device from the app (long tap -> "Remove the device").
  • Briefly press the power button in the battery compartment and release it again immediately. The status LED then starts to light up. Now press the reset button in the battery compartment for about 5 seconds. As soon as you hear an acoustic signal, you can let go.

 

 

Important: If you return the camera to us or pass it on privately, it is absolutely necessary to delete the device from the Smart Life app. Otherwise we will not be able to accept the return or the next user to whom you pass on the camera will not be able to use it.
