3. Mounting of the doorhandle

Note: The door handle is suitable for door thicknesses between 34 and 63mm.

Use the extension adapters and M4 screws supplied for installation.

 

To mount the door handle, first mount the extension adapters on the outside of the door handle (side with keypad). Then insert the outside of the door handle through the holes in the door. Now place the inside on the opposite side and screw it to the outside (see top illustration).

Note: Leave the door open continuously during assembly!

 

 

4. Battery change

To replace the batteries, open the lock at the end of the door handle with the enclosed Allen key and insert the batteries as shown in the illustration above.

 

5. LED signals

LED state Product state
Green LED lights up Opening (normal mode)
Red LED lights up Opening (low energy)
Green LED lights constant Waiting for input on the door handle (normal mode)
Red LED lights constant During the pairing process or waiting for input on the door handle (low energy)

Attention: When the LED on the door handle or the app reports the battery level warning, there are still approx. 50 openings left. Please replace the batteries as soon as possible! (see also battery replacement)

Note: After replacing the batteries, the administrator must unlock the door handle once via the app to release the door handle again. The authorisations are not deleted in the process.

 

6. Smartphone App

Search for the Janus Lock app in the Google Play Store or Apple Store and install it.
